Ingredients
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 onions, sliced thinly
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp brown sugar
250 g (8.8 oz) cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup sour cream
1 Tbsp chives
Instructions
In a skillet pan over medium heat, melt the butter.
Once melted, add the onions and cook for 30 minutes or until they are a deep brown color.
Add the Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, and cook for 5 minutes. Once cooked, put to the side and allow it to cool.
In a blender, add the cream cheese and blend until smooth.
Add the caramelized onion, chives, cream cheese, and sour cream and blend until combined.
Season with salt and pepper.
